ONTARIO WINTER GAMES 2018 - Peewee Jr. Bulldogs Capture GOLD
Submitted By Dianne Skirving on Monday, March 05, 2018
The Peewee team captured Gold by defeating the #1 Ontario ranked Mississauga Reps 2-0 in the gold medal game.  Round Robin games had them playing the Kitchener Jr Rangers to a 1-1 tie, a win over the Barrie Colts 3-0, and a 3-0 loss to the Mississauga Reps.  The semi final match up saw Hamilton edge out the Sun County Panthers 4-2.

This was an amazing weekend for the boys, where they made memories that will last a lifetime.  The Games kicked off Thursday evening with the opening ceremonies, and a parade of over 3000 athletes.  Hamilton goaltender Ben Rossi had the honour of carrying the Men's Hockey Flag to lead in all of the athlete's competing in the hockey category.

This was a total team effort.  All of the boys conducted themselves in an exemplary manner both on and off the ice, and have made Hamilton proud!
