Bulldogs top Rangers
Submitted By tmiehm on Friday, February 2, 2018
The Novice Bulldogs traveled to Oakville to take on the 3rd place Rangers Friday night. The boys came out with a strong solid effort, right off of the first face off. They applied a steady amount of pressure in the first, but came up with nothing to show for their efforts. The first period finished with both teams tied 0-0. The Rangers scored first early in the 2nd period to take a 1-0 lead. The Bulldogs answered back near the end of the frame to tie the game up a 1-1. The team dug deep and scored two more unanswered goals to skate to a 3-1 win on the road.
It was a great effort from every player and was a solid team win. TOP DOG honors go to #66 Barricelli for a great offensive effort, who was one of the hardest working players all night long.
