UPDATE -NCCP Qualification Maintenance and Renewal
Submitted By Dianne Skirving on Wednesday, June 3, 2020
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic - all NCCP Coach Qualification Clinics are suspended until further notice.

The OMHA has been taking steps to identify qualification maintenance opportunities for Coaches whose qualifications will expire on August 31, 2020.

A communication was sent to OMHA Coaches on March 7, 2020 identifying options for renewal and maintenance.  The OMHA has provided a list of Professional Development opportunities for Coaches seeking to obtain (PD) points towards the renewal of their qualifications.

TRAINER EDUCATION

The Hockey Trainer Certification Program [HTCP] is a risk management and safety education program for the volunteer hockey trainer. The ultimate goal of the program is to have all Hockey Trainers implement effective risk management on their own teams, where safety is the first priority at all times, both on and off the ice.
