Submitted By Dianne Skirving on Wed 01 22, 20
Rogers Hometown Hockey made its way to Ancaster, on the weekend of Saturday, January 18th Sunday, January 19th offering live entertainment, NHL alumni and Hockey Canada alumni and active players and hockey-themed activities.   The event hosted by Ron MacLean and Tara Slone, culminated in a live, outdoor viewing party of an NHL game, with Ancaster residents watching the Winnipeg Jets vs. the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday, January 19, 2020.

Hamilton Minor hockey teams had an opportunity to participate in “exclusive on-site” experiences during the broadcast. Head Coach, Geraldine Heaney and her 2008 Jr. Bulldogs were featured during Ron MacLean and Tara Slone’s broadcast from the Sportsnet Mobile studio Sunday, January 19, 2020. The Jr. Bulldogs got to show their love and enthusiasm for “the game” and Geraldine Heaney a four year Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs Coach, shared hockey memories during her interview on the Hometown Hockey segment.

Good Luck to the First Place Minor Peewee Team in the playoffs.
