
Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs’ 2008 Minor Peewees Featured during Rogers Hometown Hockey in Ancaster
Rogers Hometown Hockey made its way to Ancaster, on the weekend
of Saturday, January 18th Sunday, January 19th offering live entertainment, NHL
alumni and Hockey Canada alumni and active players and hockey-themed activities.
The event hosted by Ron MacLean and
Tara Slone, culminated in a live, outdoor viewing party of an NHL game, with
Ancaster residents watching the Winnipeg Jets vs. the Chicago Blackhawks on
Sunday, January 19, 2020.
Hamilton Minor hockey teams had an opportunity to participate in “exclusive on-site” experiences during the broadcast. Head Coach, Geraldine Heaney and her 2008 Jr. Bulldogs were featured during Ron MacLean and Tara Slone’s broadcast from the Sportsnet Mobile studio Sunday, January 19, 2020. The Jr. Bulldogs got to show their love and enthusiasm for “the game” and Geraldine Heaney a four year Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs Coach, shared hockey memories during her interview on the Hometown Hockey segment.
