Submitted By Dianne Skirving on Sat 01 04, 20
The CTA (Brampton 45s, Grey-Bruce Highlanders, Halton Hurricanes and Oakville) Bantam All-Star Team and STA (Buffalo Regals, Burlington Eagles, Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs, Niagara North Stars and Southern Tier Admirals) Bantam All-Star Team faced off against each other at the Annual SCTA Bantam All-Star Game on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the University of Guelph.

Both teams kept the game very close and exciting with the STA Bantam All-Stars scoring the first goal of the game at the 14.54 mark of the 1st period by Jack Ziliotto (Burlington) and assisted by Cam Kay (Hamilton).  Not long into the 2nd period the CTA Bantam All-Stars tied up the game with a goal from Quinton Page (Grey-Bruce) and assisted by Joey Melo (Halton) at 1.37 mark.

The game broke open later in the second period with the STA scoring 2 goals at the 11.27 mark by Kyle Burton (Burlington) assisted by Grayson Tiller (Hamilton) and at the 14.22 mark by Maxwell Diamond (Buffalo) and assisted by Hunter Dickey (Buffalo) and Caleb Dickson (Burlington) making the game 3 to 1 in favour of the STA.

CTA tried to push for a turning point in the game by pulling their Goaltender but the STA capitalized on this with Jack Ziliotto scoring in the empty net from an assist from Gabriel Runco (Hamilton) at the 17.23 mark of the 3rd period.

The MVP selected for the CTA Team was Quinton Page (Grey-Bruce) and the MVP selected for the STA Team was Cam Kay (Hamilton).
