2019-20 FUTURES Development Registration is Now Open
The Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs are pleased to announce
Josh Soares as our Professional Instructor for the 2019-20 FUTURES Development Program.
Josh brings with him a wealth of hockey
expertise and experience as well as his love for the game of hockey. Josh Soares is a Hamilton, ON native joining
the Hamilton Kilty B’s of the OJHL (tier 2 junior A) for 5 seasons from 98-03
and then went on to a four-year
university career. After university Josh had a 12-year pro tour that's taken
him all over the world playing in 6 leagues. To read more about

http://joshsoareshockey.com/about/The Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs' Futures Program is a progressive curriculum open to hockey players aged 6 and 7 years (2012-2013) – but is limited to 25 applicants only. The HJB Futures Development Program is offered every Wednesday from 5:45pm to 7:00pm at the Mohawk-4 Ice Centre at the $400 fee for 14 sessions running from October 16, 2019 to January 29,
The HJB Futures Development Program encourages players to gain confidence, work together with the opportunity to play at a higher level.
Some of the elements that the players will be introduced to are:
- Hockey as a multi-skill sport
- Proper early development of accurate motor patterns – a necessity for long term success
- Exercises and drills aimed at better understanding of balance, agility, stride rate for speed, puck control,
shooting activities and much more.
