
Minor PeeWee '07 Jr. Bulldogs Win Back-to-Back OMHA Gold

Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs’ faced off for the second season in a row against the
Halton Hurricanes in the OMHA Gold Medal Game.
Halton scored the first goal of the game around the 5 minute mark of the 1st period with the Jr. Bulldogs tying it up before the end of the period. The Jr. Bulldogs scored the only goal in the 2nd period. Half way through the 3rd period the Jr. Bulldogs scored their 3rd goal and added their 4th goal in the empty net when Halton pulled their goaltender defeating the Hurricanes 4 to 1 and capturing the gold medal.
In reaching the final, the Jr. Bulldogs won their opening Friday game over the Southern Tier Admirals 8 to 0 and later in the day the Jr. Bulldogs played the York-Simcoe Express for a 1 to 1 tie. On Saturday, the Jr. Bulldogs played the Central Ontario Wolves and battled for a tight win of 2 to 1. The Jr. Bulldogs concluded round-robin play later that day with a 3 to 2 loss against the Halton Hurricanes to place second in the round-robin and gain a berth in Sunday’s gold medal championship against Halton.
