2017/18 Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs Annual Yearend Banquet
Submitted By Dianne Skirving on Fri 04 06, 18
The Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs wrapped up the 2017-18 season with their annual yearend banquet held at Liuna Station on March 28, 2018. There were many family, friends, and volunteers in attendance to celebrate with the players in the accomplishments of the teams from the past season.

This was another great season for the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs organization as 7 Teams (Minor Atom, Atom, Minor PeeWee, PeeWee, Minor Bantam, Bantam and Midget) qualified to play in OMHA 6-Point Series Semi-Final Play. Four of these Teams (Atom, Minor PeeWee, PeeWee and Bantam) won their semi-final series and advanced to the OMHA Championships.

Our PeeWee and Bantam Teams advanced to play in the Bronze Medal game but lost in 3 overtime periods.  Our Atom Team won the Gold Medal game and will also be hosting the upcoming 21st Annual Atom AAA OHF Championship at the Mountain-Dave Andreychuk Arena on April 13 to 15, 2018.

President, Neil Skirving opened the Awards Program by thanking the players for their outstanding commitment, dedication and work ethic, both on and off the ice. He went on to commend the coaching staffs and the development staff of the HJB Teams for the countless hours they commit and dedicate to the HJB hockey program. He said they did an incredible job developing the HJB teams which culminated into the most successful season yet for the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs.  He thanked the HJB Board of Directors and the Volunteers for their support and efforts this past season which greatly contributed to a smooth running and successful season.

The Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs is thrilled to announce our 2017-18 Award Recipients and extend our heartfelt congratulations to this year’s recipients as your dedication to superior performance has resonated with all of the members of the HJB:
