Submitted By Dianne Skirving on Saturday, February 17, 2018
Marc West played his junior hockey with the Burlington Cougars and in the OHL in Hamilton and Belleville.  Marc was a 12th round draft pick by Boston Bruins in the 1985 NHL Draft.  He played professionally in Italy, Germany, Sweden, the ECHL and AHL from 1989 to 2007.  Marc finished his hockey career with 374 goals, 694 assists and 1,094 penalty minutes.  Marc coached minor hockey with Burlington Eagles and 3 years with the OJHL Burlington Cougars.

Marc’s main goals are to make sure the players are developing and preparing to make the jump to the next level at the end of the season.  Marc and his Staff come to the rink everyday ready to work and will have the same expectations of the players. With this expectation, Marc believes that every player will be able to develop properly and the team will have success.

The Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs are pleased to welcome back Marc West as the Head Coach of the 2001-02 Midget AAA Team.  We are sure that with his continued commitment to the players that they will be given all the support they need to make themselves and the team successful.
