
Jr. Bulldogs 2018-19 Head Coach Announcement Mike Massis – 2006 PEEWEE
Mike Massis played his Minor
Hockey in Hamilton and continued on for 3 years to play Junior
Hockey for the Hamilton Kilty B’s from 1991 to 1994. Mike advanced on to
play NCAA Collegiate hockey for the Mercyhurst University Lakers from
1994-1998.
Mike’s coaching philosophy is on
skill development and overall team play as he believes that improvement in
hockey skills will result in overall better team play.
His goal is to develop the kids for the next level of hockey and in the process enjoy some success and fun along the way. Mike Massis stresses that more importantly, hockey is a sport for life and that we want these kids to play as much hockey as they can in their lives. Development and enjoyment of the game will help contribute to each player’s long term participation in the sport.
Chris Gratton will join his Bench Staff this season as an Assistant Coach. Chris Gratton is a successful HJB Head Coach and brings with him many years of hockey experience and will be an ideal addition to the 2006 Peewee AAA Team.
