Minor Midgets Win London Green and White Invitational
Submitted By mcaruso on Tuesday, October 15, 2013
Congratulations to the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs Minor Midget Team who won the London Green and White Tournament this past weekend (October 11-13, 2013). The team won the tournament with an impressive 7-0 record.

In Round Robin play, the Dogs defeated the Barrie Colts (4-1), the Kingston Frontenacs (5-0), the Toronto Red Wings (4-1), and the Chatham-Kent Cyclones (4-2).  They then battled the Halton Hurricanes for a 4-2 victory in quarter-final action.

The highlight of the tournament was the semi final game where the Jr. Bulldogs faced the #1 ranked team in Ontario, the Toronto Marlboros. Both teams were very equally matched, and at the end of regulation the score was tied at 3. After about three and a half minutes of intense back-and-forth action, the Jr. Bulldogs potted the game winner.  The team then went on to defeat the Waterloo Warriors 4-1 in the Championship game to bring the trophy back home to Hamilton.

Congratulations to the Players and Coaching Staff.
