Congratulations to the '94 Bantams!
Submitted By Webmaster on Sun 10 12, 08
The Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs '94 Bantam team won the Windsor Border City Cup with a miraculous effort this past 2008 Thanksgiving weekend.

In the semi-finals against league rival Guelph, the Jr. Bulldogs found themselves down 3-0 with under two minutes left in the third period.  With 1:38 left in the game, Luke Sinclair got the first Bulldog goal to start the miracle comeback.  Then, with the goalie pulled, the team pulled to within one goal with only 28.5 seconds left on a goal by Will Marlow.  People began pouring into the rink to watch the last of this amazing game and our Bantams didn't disappoint as Joey Sullivan banged in the tying goal with only 4.2 seconds remaining.  Three goals in 1 minute, 33 seconds!!!!

After that incredible comeback, there would be no denying our Jr. Bulldogs as Cole McKnight completed this remarkable effort with the game winning goal just under six minutes into the first overtime period.  From there, the boys stayed focused for the final and defeated Windsor 4-2 to capture the Border City Cup!

Results:
Win 10-0 vs Sun County Panthers
Win 3-2 vs Indianapolis Racers
Win 6-0 vs Waterloo Wolves
Win 5-1 vs Markham Waxers
Win 4-3 vs Guelph Jr. Storm (OT) - Semi-Finals
Win 4-2 vs Windsor Jr. Spitfires - Championship

Congratulation to Head Coach Gord Weaver, his coaching staff and especially our '94 Bantam players !!
